About
The longest continuous block of Georgian architecture anywhere on the planet,
Royal Terrace is a masterpiece of architecture by the renowned William Playfair. Built in 1820, the first families to move in were wine merchants, brewers and distillers. It quickly got the nickname: "Whisky Row". |

The Adria House has been the city home of two Dukes of Atholl and at one point was the dwelling of a church minister. This man of the cloth not only gave away all his coal to the poor in his parish but for those that couldn't be wed in his church, he married them in his own home (and there are wedding certificates to prove it!)
The Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre, Scotland’s home to the WEST END MUSICALS, is just around the corner as is the Omni leisure and entertainment centre, 12 screen VUE Cinema Complex.
Only a further 5 minutes walk away onto Queen Street is
The Stand comedy club and live music venue The Jam House.
